LOMBARDO, John of New Port Richey passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2016. He was born on Staten Island, NY August 9, 1938 to Salvatore and Mildred Lombardo. John worked for Bryers Ice Cream and Sealtest, as a mechanic/truck driver for 25 years. He also owned and operated laundromats on Staten Island as well as Elfers in New Port Richey. John enjoyed going to Atlantic City and Biloxi. He loved the crap tables. He also loved playing cards with his friends at Colony Cove Mobile Home Park and was a great fan of Rock and Roll music. He was met in heaven by his parents; brother, Roy; brother-in-law, Matthew Fiorentino; and his wonderful son-in-law, who was like his son, Jack Hipp who passed away in August of 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Helen; his three daughters, Donna (Vincent) Avignone, Diane (Tony) Brancato, and Kathleen Hipp; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathleen Fiorentino; and special niece and nephew, who were a great help to us, Laura and Joe Fumando. Viewing will be held at Morgan Funeral Home Chapel Friday, December 2, from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. Chapel service will be held at Morgan Funeral Home Saturday, December 3, at 11 am.
