JOHN M. ALBRIGHT, J.D. (50), of Poplar Bluff, Mo., died at his home on Monday, October 31, 2016. He was born on May 13, 1966, in Huntington, to Doris and Charles Albright, both deceased. After serving in the US Army as combat engineer, John graduated from Marshall University in 1993 with a degree in Philosophy and from Washington University-St. Louis, Mo., in 1996 with a J. D. John practiced law for over twenty years in South East Missouri. He will be deeply missed by his children, Vaughn Allen (16) and Charli Francis (14). John is survived by his sister, Anita Campbell of Teays Valley, W.Va., and his brother, Charles Albright of Conn. A memorial service will be held at the
Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, on Friday, November 11, 2016, beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the mausoleum overlooking the pond, entering the memorial park from Rt. 60. At a time to be determined, John will take one last fishing trip to Camp Wallalatoola, Virginia, a beloved boys camp he swore saved him from a life of thuggery as a teen. His ashes will be returned to camp sometime in the spring of 2017, when the water is clear and the morning mountain air is still crisp.
