A life filled with laughs and love

John Nason, beloved husband, father, and sports enthusiast, passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 67 in Shapleigh, Maine. He was born on June 28, 1956, to Walter and Gladys Piper Nason.

John married his high school sweetheart, Susan Leigh Nason, in 1984, and they were blessed with two children, Jaime and Joshua. He adored his family and was thrilled to become a grandfather to one precious grandchild.

John was a proud graduate of Massabesic High School and spent his career working at Foglio Construction. When he wasn't on the job, you could find him cheering on the Patriots, Celtics, Red Sox, and NASCAR races with unrivaled enthusiasm.

John will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and unwavering love for his family and sports teams. He fought a courageous battle with cancer and passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones.

Rest in peace, John. You may be gone, but your spirit and love will live on in our hearts forever.
