John Murphy, born on May 13, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, United States, passed away on September 26, 2024. He was the beloved son of John and Delores Murphy.

John was married to his loving wife Michelle for 50 years and together they raised 4 children: Sharon (spouse Burdette), Terry, Leon (spouse Sara), and Patricia (spouse Malcom). He was also a proud grandfather to 10 grandchildren.

John worked as a Carpenter for many years before retiring in 2010. He also served in the Navy, where he dedicated his time to serving his country.

One of John's hobbies was creating bird toys, which brought him great joy and fulfillment.

John Murphy will be remembered for his loving nature, hard work, and dedication to his family and country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

John passed away after a courageous battle with cancer.
