John P. Hoffman Jr., 84, died on the 19th of November 2016 after a short illness. His Funeral service will be held this Tuesday, November 22nd 1:30pm at Christ the King Church, 1102 Hart Rd, Towson, MD, followed by interment at Parkwood Cemetery, 3310 Taylor Ave; Parkville, Maryland 21234. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pm Monday November 21st at Ruck Towson Funeral Home. Mr. Hoffman was born on the 2nd of February 1932 to John and Naomi Hoffman. He served in the Air Force and began working in the family business started by grandfather, Andrew Hoffman in 1920. John worked at A. Hoffman Awning Company for over 60 years and became an icon in the Baltimore Community. Besides his business, John loved fishing and boating. He is survived by his wife, Donna, 4 daughters and 3 son in laws: Greta and Jason Olbrict, Lisa and Andrew Damico, Paula and Tom Murkott, and Kim Hoffman; 8 grandchildren; Brother Gilbert Hoffman, Sister in law Loretta Hoffman, Brother in law Robert Miller: also survived by nieces and nephews and extended family at Hoffman Awning.
