John Prejean, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on February 11, 2025 in his home in Hamshire, Texas. He was born on January 22, 1940, in the same small town that he called home throughout his life.

John attended Comeaux High School where he developed his unique sense of humor and graduated in 1958. After school, he went on to work at Sinclair Copper Shipyard where he dedicated many years of hard work and dedication.

Throughout his life, John also served in the Army, a commitment he was very proud of. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and taking care of his animals with his grandson by his side. John had a special bond with his three children, Gloria, Mark, and Dave, who meant the world to him.

John will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious laughter, and his love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
