John Russell CadwalladerStuart, FLJohn Russell Cadwallader, 94, of Stuart, FL, passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 at Hilliard Assisted Living, Hilliard, OH. He was born on September 9, 1922 in Tiffin, OH to Russell and Tina (Grey) Cadwallader. On September 3, 1946, he married Arleen Alice Borowiak in Rockville, NE. Survivors include two sons, Thomas (Connie) Cadwallader of Bowling Green, OH and Jeffrey (Sharon) Cadwallader of Hilliard, OH; two daughters, Joyce (Ron) Powell of Cumming, GA, and Ann (David) Chadwick of Westerville, OH; 8 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Arleen, in 2012, and sister, Eva Bridges Thompson. John graduated in 1941 from Tiffin Columbian High School. He served in the US Navy from 1942 - 1946 as 2nd Class Aviation Machinist Mate. He was an employee of Tiffin United States Post Office, retiring in 1980 after 39 years of service. He retired to Stuart, FL in 1980 where he resided until November 2016. He recently was given his 70th year membership award from the Masonic fraternity of Ohio. Private services will be held at a later date with internment in Seneca Memory Gardens, Tiffin Ohio.
