John W. FelixKingman - John William Felix, 73, of Kingman, died at 9:48 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Crawfordsville.John was born on February 10, 1940 in Williamsport. He was the son of the late Floyd L. and Mary M. (Tatlock) Felix. He grew up in Warren County and attended school in Tab. He had also lived in Virginia, Zephyr Hills, FL and moved back to Warren County before moving to Kingman around 1990.John was previously married to Barbara Ann (Shoaf) Ivey. He later married Hazel Ann (McCoy) Carnahan on April 11, 1976 in Vansant, VA. She preceded him in death on March 2, 2012.John had worked as an over the road truck driver for over 35 years. He had also driven a coal truck in Virginia for several years. He was an avid coin collector and loved to visit with family and friends.Survivors include a daughter, Tammy (husband-Dale) Riley of Warsaw; three stepchildren, Richard (wife-Darlene) Carnahan of Florida, Tim (wife-Tutita) Carnahan of Pine Village and Jackie Rose, Phoenix, AZ; two brothers, James L. (wife-Hazine) Felix of Lafayette and Floyd E. (wife-Nancy) Felix of Georgia; two sisters, Carolyn S. (husband-Bob) Holen of Williamsport and Nancy M. Felix of Hetrick; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a son, John Lee Felix.Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Saturday, December 28th, from 11:00 a.m. until the service time at 1:00 p.m. with Clint Fink officiating.
