It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Johnathan Lewis on June 4, 2023, at the age of 22. Johnathan was born on August 29, 2000, in New Iberia, Louisiana, to proud parents James and Sarah Lewis.
Johnathan was a beloved son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend who touched the lives of everyone he knew. He attended New Iberia High School, where he excelled in academics and sports. Johnathan was a natural-born leader, and he quickly rose through the ranks to become the captain of the football team, leading them to several victories.
After graduating from high school in 2018, Johnathan went on to attend Louisiana State University. He majored in business administration, and it was there that he discovered his love for entrepreneurship. Johnathan was a driven and creative thinker, and he was always coming up with new ideas for businesses that he hoped to one day start.
Despite his busy schedule, Johnathan never lost sight of what really mattered - his family and friends. He was a kind and compassionate individual who always went out of his way to help those in need. Johnathan was a true friend, always there to lend an ear or a shoulder to cry on. He had a contagious positive attitude that lifted everyone's spirits.
Tragically, Johnathan's life was cut short, leaving us all with a profound sense of loss. However, his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the impact he made on the world.
