Johnny Hill, 79, of Atmore, Alabama, passed away on July 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 2, 1944, to Harold Hill and Louise Lymn.

Johnny is survived by his beloved wife of 81 years, Catherine Knight Hill, whom he married in 1943. Together, they raised three children: Harold Hill Jr (spouse Tonya Wesley), Emmie Hill (spouse John Kyles), and Helen Hill. He was a proud grandfather to four grandchildren Kevin Mcmillian , Octavia Kyles , Julia Kyles , and John Kyles.

Johnny had a long and fulfilling career as a firefighter, serving his community with dedication and bravery. He retired in 2017 after many years of service. In addition to his work as a firefighter, Johnny also served in the Marine Corps.

Johnny will be remembered for his sense of humor, love of family, and passion for helping others. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
