Johnny Napier, age 85, passed away on May 14, 2024, in Washington Courthouse, Ohio, United States. He was born on September 7, 1939
Johnny married Kathy Napier in the year 1960 Together they raised five children: Johnny, Kenny, Brent, Tammy, and Malinda Napier. They were also blessed with over ten grandchildren.
Johnny attended McHenry High School in Ohio county Kentucky with a graduating class of 14 students, and later served in the Airborne as a Sergeant. He had a passion for deer hunting that he distilled into his kids and grandchildren he enjoyed spending time in the woods with his grandchildren, Dustin Jackson, Wayland Jackson, and Dillon Napier more than anything. His grand children were as much children of his as his own.
Johnny Napier will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his service to his country for doing 3 tours in Vietnam , and his love for the great outdoors. Johnny is also the author of 3 published books that helped really get his name and reputation out. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Johnny wished to be cremated and ashes spread where he felt most at home in the mountains of Mc, Henry Kentucky.
Johnny Napier passed away due to a heart condition.
A memorial will be held on Memorial Day weekend in Mc. Henry. All are welcome to join to celebrate Johnny’s long happy life.
