Johnny Perry, affectionately known as Johnny Boy, passed away on June 14th, 2023 due to gun violence at the young age of 29. He was born on January 1st, 1994 in Louisburg, North Carolina to his loving parents Aaron Perry and Johnyette Alston.

Johnny was a proud graduate of Louisburg High School where he excelled in sports, particularly basketball. He could often be found shooting hoops with his friends and family, especially his two beloved children, Ashanti and Jaden.

Aside from sports, Johnny had a talent for making people laugh. He had a contagious smile and a silly sense of humor that could light up any room. He was often found cracking jokes and lifting the spirits of those around him.

Johnny had a heart of gold and was always willing to lend a helping hand. His generosity and kindness will be deeply missed by all those who knew him.

Although gone too soon, Johnny will forever be remembered as a loving son, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. Rest in peace, Johnny Boy.
