Johnny L Moore SR., 73, of mortons Gap, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 4, 2020 at His home. Native of Hopkins County, he was born on March 17, 1947, son of the late Richard O. Moore., and Myrtle L. Phelps Moore. He was also an avid University of Kentucky sports fan.

Lucien began a career with Peabody Coal in Muhlenberg County, in his leisure time he enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams, camping and showing his love to his family.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister; Louise Howard

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife; Nancy Moore whom he enjoyed his life together with for over 26 years. 1 daughter; Amy Pugeof Bardstown, 3 sons; Johnny Lee Moore JR, Eric Moore, Scotty Moore, all from Madisonville his grandchildren; Chelsy Moore, Ashley Humphries, William Humphries, Leelynn Moore, Keaton Moore all of Madisonville, One brother; Ronnie Moore, one sister; Carrolyn Qualls. Numerous other relative and friends

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 8, 2020 at the Concord 285 Concord Church Road, White Plains, Kentucky. Due to covid 19 limited number of family members allowed at one time during visitation.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at the church with Pastor Justin Barnes and Bishop Eric Barnes officiating, Interment will be in the Concord Cemetery.
