Johnny Turner, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 30, 2024, in Blakely, Georgia. He was born on March 19, 1944, to Larry Neal Turner and Jessie Mae Ramsey.

Johnny is survived by his three loving children: Leann Marie Thomas, Richard Dean Turner, and Charlie Mae Turner. He was a proud grandfather to eight grandchildren.

Johnny attended Early County High School and graduated in 1962. He went on to bravely serve in the Marine Corps, reaching the rank of Sergeant Major.

Johnny had a passion for fishing and could often be found casting his line in the peaceful waters of his favorite fishing spots.

Johnny will be remembered for his warm smile, his love of family, and his dedication to his country. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
