We are gathered here today to celebrate the life of Jonathan Brown, who passed away on July 21, 2024 in Baker, Louisiana at the age of 69. Born on December 11, 1954, Jonathan brought joy and laughter to all those who knew him.

Jonathan was the beloved son of Jonathan and Debra Brown. He was also the loving husband of Lashonda, whom he married in 1989. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Justin, Janae, and John. Jonathan was a proud parent who always supported his children in their endeavors.

Jonathan attended Baker High School and graduated in 1967, although he jokingly liked to tell people he never attended college. He found success in his career at the post office, where he worked diligently for many years.

In his free time, Jonathan enjoyed dancing and singing. His lively spirit and sense of humor brought smiles to everyone he encountered. He will be remembered for his infectious laughter and prankster ways.

Jonathan's passing was due to lung cancer, a battle he faced with courage and strength. Although he may no longer be with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Rest in peace, Jonathan Brown. You will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
