Jonathon Tolbert, 67, of Gary, Indiana, passed Thursday, May 09, 2019. Jonathon was born to Earl Tolbert, and Janice Smith Tolbert, January 14, 1952.

Jonathon graduated from Roosevelt High School. He married Minnie Aquisha Tolbert in 1994, and they lived together in Gary.

Jonathon is survived by 3 children: Erica Tolbert Crosslin (Carlton Crosslin), Shurika Tolbert, and Timothy Tolbert (Shantae Gousby Tolbert ). He also is survived by 5 grandchildren: Eric Tolbert, Aquisha Tolbert, Brittney Tolbert Shane, Kennedy Crosslin, Kevin Tolbert

Jonathon attended Howard University and was a proud member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. 

Jonathon was a proud man who started his own company employing hundreds of men and women from his home time.

Jonathon's legacy will live on proudly in the family and friends who mourn him today.
