Jorge Alberto Ortega, born in Roma-Los Saenz, Texas on August 12, 1962, was a a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He passed away on June 29, 2025 at his home in Georgetown, Texas.

Jorge married Maria on October 6,1990 and together they built a beautiful family. They have three children, Angelica Ortega, Mariana Ortega (spouse Brandon Mendez), and Jorge Ortega Jr (wife Chelsee Ortega). Jorge was also a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren Camilo, Christian, Natalie, Adilene, Sebastian, Olympia and Cecelia.

One of Jorge's greatest joys in life was spending time with his family. He cherished every moment he got to share with his loved ones and was always there to support and encourage them.

He is preceded in death by his father Enrique Ortega, mother Araceli Moreno and his stepfather Amador Cepeda.

Jorge Ortega will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
