Harlingen, TX - Jose Diaz, Jr., 64, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, in Harlingen, Texas. He was born on April 3, 1952 in Harlingen to Jose and Esther Diaz. Jose proudly served in the U.S. Marines Corps.He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Alfonso and Roberto Diaz.Jose is survived by his children, Tracy Catache and Jose Diaz III; sister, Estella Mares; brothers, Porfirio, Jose, Carlos, Faustino, and Delfino Diaz.Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel. The family will begin receiving guests at 12 p.m.Inurnment will follow at a later date at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission.
