Jose "Joe" Luvin SotoSan AngeloJose "Joe" Luvin Soto, 79, of San Angelo, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 20, 2017, in a local hospital. Joe was born on June 27, 1938, to Jesus and Santos (Sanchez) Soto in Del Rio. On Aug. 6, 1962, he married Olivia Montez in San Angelo. Joe worked as a technician for B & B Office Machines. Joe enjoyed watching all sports, especially Nathan and Kyrsten's sporting events and loved cooking for his family and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition, he was known throughout town for his '54 blue Chevy pick-up truck. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church for many years.Joe is survived by his loving spouse of 55 years, Olivia Soto; two daughters, Delma Soto Criblez and husband Kevin of Hewitt, Texas and Jacqueline Soto Robles and husband Edward of San Angelo; grandson Nathan Robles of San Angelo; granddaughter Kyrsten Robles of San Angelo; brother Alonzo Soto and wife Alicia of Del Rio; and sister-in-law Mary Soto of Del Rio.He was preceded in death by his infant son, San Ramon Soto; parents Jesus and Santos Soto; and brother Miguel Soto.Rosary is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, 2017, at Robert Massie Riverside Chapel. Mass is at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25, 2017, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with Father Felix Archibong officiating.
