Brownsville, TX - Jose R. Medina, 79, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016, in Brownsville, Texas. He was born on January 16, 1937 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to Ramon and Magdalena Medina.He is preceded in death by his wife, Maria De Lourdes Medina; his parents; and 4 brothers.Left to cherish his memory are his children, Martha (Arnie) Ayala, Maria Elena (Sergio) Reynaga, and Olga L. Martinez; and family friend, George Moreno; 8 granchildren; and 8 great grandchildren; sister, Juana Medina; and numerous nephews and nieces.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m.Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel.
