On May 19, 2024, the world lost a truly one-of-a-kind individual with the passing of Joseph Gadson. Born on June 6, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to William and Mary Gadson, Joseph lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of adventure.

In 1973, Joseph married the love of his life, Sarah Gadson, and together they raised a beautiful family of five children: Jean, Marvin, Manny, John, and Joseph Jr. Joseph was a devoted husband and father, always putting his family first and making sure they knew how much he loved them.

Joseph was a proud Marine who served his country with honor and distinction. His bravery and dedication to his country were just a few of the many admirable qualities that made him the incredible man he was.

With a smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold, Joseph will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will be cherished by his family and friends forever.

Although Joseph's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will live on through his 10 grandchildren and the countless lives he touched throughout his lifetime.
