It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Adkins, a beloved member of the Monroe community. Joseph passed away peacefully on October 3rd, 2024. With the comfort of his eldest sister, Kathy Benton. He was 44 years old. Joseph was a dedicated father of six, whose love and humor filled the lives of all who knew him. His infectious laughter and warm spirit brought joy to countless gatherings, and he had a unique ability to make even the simplest moments memorable. As a devoted family man, Joseph prioritized his children, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience and a good sense of humor. His legacy of love and laughter will live on in their hearts and memories. Joseph leaves behind his six children Terra Weir, Haley Adkins, Joseph Adkins, Cheyenne Adkins, Gracie Adkins and Dennis Adkins as well as his grandchildren, friends and extended family who will miss him tremendously. There will be no formal funeral service instead, his family encourages everyone who loved and knew Joseph to celebrate his life in their own way, sharing stories and laughter that reflect the joy he brought to their lives
