Mr. Joseph A. Gagliano Sr., 86, of Mayfield Village, OH., and formerly of Lake City, Florida, passed away Dec. 3, 2013 at Alter Care Nursing Facility in Mayfield Village. He was born on July 16, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army. He was a retired insurance agent, and a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus.He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Jessie L. (nee Trinca), his children Nancy Farmer (Roger), Gina Pumphrey (Roger), Joseph Jr. (Sue), Therese Dragga (Mike), Patrick, Gregory and John (Millie), 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, his sisters Claire Gallo and Nancy Buccilli, and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Katherine (nee Cariota), brothers Paul and Charles, and a sister Mary Sciarappa.Mass of Christian Burial for Joe will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 in St. Ann Catholic Church of Communion of Saints Parish, 2475 Coventry Blvd., Cleveland Heights, OH.
