Joseph Prince, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on March 21, 2025 in Queens, New York. He was born on August 22, 1970 to Darryl Knowles and Elva Prince. Joseph was married to his loving wife Shahida Owens for 5 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Jonazia, Deondre, and Tyler.
Joseph was a dedicated volunteer at the Boys & Girls Club organization, where he spent countless hours mentoring and helping local children. He had a passion for basketball and could often be found shooting hoops in his spare time.
Joseph's infectious laughter and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Although he is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
Joseph Prince is survived by his wife, children, and two grandchildren. He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony surrounded by his loved ones. May he rest in peace.
