Joseph Cleveland Geris, 67, of Culpeper, died Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at his home. He was born November 21, 1956 in Warrenton to the late Joseph and Ann Marie Geris. 

Joseph enjoyed traveling, eating and bowling. He was a semi-professional bowler up and down the east coast. Joseph liked listening to lots of different kinds of music, and he loved his family most of all. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara A. Geris; his children, Julia Joanne Light (Scott) and Gabrielle Geris; and one grandson, Jordan Light. 

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Pastor Bruce Beeler officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, 4160 Rixeyville Rd, Jeffersonton, VA 22724. Pallbearers serving the family will be Darrell Wampler, Jeffrey Kelly, Kenny James, Jeff Fincham, Bill Kirk, and Cory Hagerty.
