Joseph N. Covelli1947 - 2015Joseph N. Covelli, 68, of Kenosha, passed away peacefully, surrounding by his loving family, Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at his residence.He was born on Jan. 24, 1947, to the late Peter and Ann (Forgianni) Covelli in Kenosha. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha, graduating from Mary D. Bradford High School. While at Bradford he managed the wrestling team and the football team. Joe attended UW Parkside, Carthage College and Cardinal Stritch receiving his bachelor's degree.On Oct. 12, 1974, he married Linda Lundell at St. Mary's Catholic Church.Joe worked at the American Brass as a furnace operator for 28 years, retiring in 1992. He also worked in security for the Kenosha Private Police from 1977 to 1988. Joe was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Alpine Club. Joe was a collector of clowns, pez dispensers and stamps. He was happy to be able to fulfill his bucket list, going to Italy twice. He enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, Disney World and to the Wisconsin Dells. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.Joe is survived by his loving wife Linda; his children, Jason (Amy) Covelli, Samantha (Richard Whitney Jr.) Covelli, and John (Shannon) Ervin, all of Kenosha; his grandchildren Olivia and Roman; and his step grandchildren, Krystal, Skyla, Faith, Hunter and Jordan. He is also survived by his cousins, Theresa (Jacques) Van Landuyt, Margaret Kendall, Carol Jensen, and Gary Morrill; and special friends, Brent Ruetten, Betty Brown, Bobby Spann, and Katie Friedrich. Funeral Services for Joe will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at All Saints Mausoleum. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
