ARCADIA - Joseph E. Gill, 57, formerly of Milwaukee and Racine, died on Friday, June 15, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Arcadia. He was born on November 18, 1954, in Racine to Edward and Gladys Gill. He graduated from Case High School in Racine. Joe spent most of his life managing restaurants in the Milwaukee area, for which he had a great talent. He was also a supervisor for Gold'N Plump and Ashley Furniture, both in Arcadia. On October 11, 1993 Joe married the love of his life, Cynthia J. Becker (Drewek) in Waukesha, Wis. She died September 7, 2011. Joe was an avid fisherman and deer hunter. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family. Joe was a devoted husband and father, as well as a great friend to many. Joe is survived by his daughter, Candy (Jason) Gamroth; his brother, Dan Gill; brother-in-law, Wayne Crawford; nephews, Todd and Ryan Gill, Sean, Brian and Todd Crawford. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at the SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, Wis. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
