A Life Well Lived

Joseph Antie, 84, of Grapevine, Texas, passed on February 10, 2022. Joseph was born on October 08, 1937.

Joseph, also known by Joe to those who knew him, grew up on a farm near Dallas, Texas. Throughout his youth, Joseph was a horseback rider with a job working at the local grocery where he was a bagger. This is where he met the love of his life bagging her groceries, Frances. Joe and Frances got married in 1961 and were together ever since.

Joseph was the proud father of Brad, Dean, Michelle, Angela, and Gina. He was also a grandfather to Brittany, Nathan, Carley, Josie, Anna, Gracie, Trent, Laura, Leah, Hunter, Logan, Caroline, Bronson, Allison, Evan, Janie, Ashley, Bryant, Lindsey, and Caleb.

Anyone who knew Joseph would describe him as a father, mentor, and dedicated employee. He taught his children his favorite childhood pastime, horseback riding, played catch in the yard, but most of all, he instilled values that they will serve them well. He will be missed dearly and forever in our hearts.

A celebration of Joseph's life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 Wildwood Ln, Grapevine, TX 76051, on Saturday, February 11, 2022, beginning at 1 p.m.
