Materese Jr., Joseph J.Joseph John Materese, Jr., 67 of Endicott, NY died peacefully in his home on July 22, 2017. Joe was born on November 10, 1949. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph J. Materese, Sr. and Anna Lesek Materese. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Mary Consol Materese, "Mare" as he affectionately called her; his children Jennifer, Joey-Leigh and Edwin Ledesma, Joseph III and Jennifer, and James and Virginia; and the loves of his life, his grandchildren, Jacob, Chloe, James Jr., Nikolas, Emily, Eva and Vivian. Joe served his country in the Vietnam war. He was a retired plumber with the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 112. The family will receive friends at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main Street, Endicott on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 12 noon until the Funeral Mass at 2pm.
