Joseph "Joe" Quill95, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2017. Joe was born on May 9, 1921 in Indianapolis to Hugh M. and Mary B. McCarthy Quill. Joe graduated from the University of Notre Dame and its Law School and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was an attorney in Indianapolis for 58 years retiring in 2008.Joe and his wife, Dolores, were married in the first building on the University of Notre Dame campus, the Log Chapel, by the Rev. Charles Carey C.S.C.Joe is survived by his daughters, Adrienne Quill (Kriss Anderson) of Kettering, OH and Annette Quill (Scott Burnham) of Golden, CO; and five grandchildren: Murphy and Roland Anderson and Cecelia, Charlotte and Josephine Burnham. Joe is also survived by his sister Mary Ellen Judd of Bloomfield Hills MI and one cousin Mary Katherine (Katie) Johnson.Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 18 at 11 am at St. Matthew Catholic Church. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 17 at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary (71st and Keystone). In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to The Little Sisters of the Poor, , or St. Matthew Catholic Church for benefit of Dr. Ellen Einterz Program.
