Josephine Johnston, of McIntosh, Alabama, passed away on July 4, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born on February 3, 1942.

Josephine, also known as Jo to her friends and family, was a loving wife to her partner Prince Johnston and a devoted mother to her four children. She had a zest for life and a contagious sense of humor that brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Josephine attended McIntosh High School and was known for her academic achievements and her love for learning. She instilled the value of education in her children, who all went on to succeed in their own endeavors.

Josephine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her memory will live on through her children and grandchildren. She touched the lives of so many and leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter.
