A beautiful life that came to an end, she died as she lived, everyone's friend. In our hearts a memory will always be kept, of the one we loved and will never forget.
Josephine Marscellio, 64, of Tunnelton, West Virginia, passed on August 19, 2021 after a long-standing battle with pancreatic cancer. Josephine was born on January 16, 1957 to parents Victor and Maysa Bellero, and married her husband Nicodemo Marscellio on June 25, 1986. Her memory forever remains in the hearts of her three beautiful children: Rodolfo, Janetta, and Victorino, her three grandchildren: Gabriella, Giorgio, and Amani, and her godchildren Jonathan and Victoria. A lover of poetry, Josephine enjoyed spending time out in nature, embracing nature's breeze and celebrating every moment as if it was her last. As an active member of the community board, Josephine was constantly active helping to raise funds for the homeless within our community, always aiming to help those less fortunate, and give back to her local community.
Josephine is a truly special individual who's passion and love for life will remain in the hearts of the friends and family she has touched. Due to the current state of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Marscellio family has requested a private, 24-hour viewing for immediate family members. After the viewing is completed, all are welcome to attend Josephine's burial ceremony which will take place at Kingwood Cemetery in Kingwood, WV.
In memory of Josephine and her passion for volunteering and giving back to her community, in lieu of flower arrangements or mass cards, the Marscellio family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in the name of Josephine, so that we can work towards a more efficient diagnosis and cure for pancreatic cancer.
We encourage any of our family members to upload photos with Josephine on this obituary. Josephine truly enjoyed spending time with those she cared about most, and her family would love to reminisce and revisit memories of years past.
The family of Josephine, thanks you in advance for your support throughout this difficult time.
