It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joyce Cheers, who was born on December 1, 1967, in Illinois City, Illinois, United States. Joyce was the beloved daughter of Percy Patterson and Bernice Cheers. She leaves behind a loving family, including her three children and four grandchildren.Joyce attended Dunbar Vocational HS High School, where she graduated in 1986. She furthered her education at Malcolm X and graduated in 1988.Joyce will be remembered for her kind and compassionate spirit, as well as her unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
