Hofman, JoyceJoyce A. Hofman, age 90, New London, WI, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017, surrounded by her loving family at ThedaCare Medical Center, New London. She was born on April 22, 1926, in New London to Henry and Harriet (Millard) Hofman. Joyce liked to travel and did so extensively for her job as an occupational health nurse for Appleton Coated and Wausau Insurance. She was a lifetime member of First Congregational United Church of Christ, New London. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and an infant brother, Eugene. She is survived by cousins Jennie (Frank) Schumacher, Jane (Edgar) Algiers and Jim (Donna) Klatt, as well as Godson Ted Algiers and numerous other family members and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her; remembered fondly for her kind, selfless and gentle nature.Funeral services for Joyce will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, New London, with Rev. Greg Watling officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Floral Hill Cemetery, New London. A memorial fund has been established.
