We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joyce Thompson, born June 9, 1955, in Irvine, California, who peacefully left us on May 25, 2024, in Vancouver, BC. She was the beloved daughter of Louis and Theresa Beltjens, along with siblings Marianne and Neal.

Joyce was a devoted wife to her husband Fred, whom she married in 1978. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Ryan and David, and she adored her daughter-in-law, Roz. She was a loving mother, sister, and friend whose kindness touched many lives.

Her passing was a result of heart complications, and though our hearts are heavy with grief, we take solace in knowing that she is at peace. Per her wishes, she was cremated with a memorial being held Sunday, June 16th on the family estate in North Vancouver.

Joyce will be remembered for her gentle spirit and passion for life. She loved spending time with family and friends more than anything, and brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Joyce's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
