Joyce Yorgey-Trimboli died at Kaiser Permanente Hospital on April 23, 2019, in Riverside, CA due to complications from her battle with kidney failure and a heart condition. She was 72 and in her 12th year after a double lung transplant.
Joyce was born on August 26, 1946, in Norristown, PA to her parents, Joseph and Margorie Yorgey. She married Louis Alfred Trimboli. The Trimboli’s moved to New Port Richey Florida where they started a bakery business until moving to California. She retired in 2007 after a double lung transplant and returned to the Catholic church. She spent the last years learning and living her faith and caring for her grandchildren, as well as actively participating in prayer and worship at her local church, St. Anthony of Padua Riverside, CA.
Joyce was a grandmother to 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was a joyful and kind soul that touched everyone she met with a smile and “east coast” accent.
Joyce is survived by her sons, Jack and Anthony Trimboli of Melbourne, FL and Riverside, CA; She was 1 of 10 children to include her brothers, Joseph Jr., Franklin, Ronald, John Yorgey; sisters Marjorie, Adenia, Barbara, Eileen, and Sara.
Joyce will be buried on May 1, 2019, at Pierce Brothers Crestlawn Riverside, CA 11500 Arlington Ave, Riverside, CA 92505. A viewing and vigil will take place on April 30 at 5:00-9:00 p.m. at St Anthony’s Catholic Church 3074 Madison St, Riverside, CA 92504.
