Juana Hurtado, a beloved resident of Spanish Harlem, passed away on May 17, 2024, at the age of 80. She was born on December 21, 1943, and lived a vibrant and fulfilling life.
Juana had a passion for feeding the birds, cooking delicious meals, dancing to her favorite music, and finding solace in prayer. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life and cherished every moment spent with her family and friends.
She is survived by her only child , Marlene Jimenez. Juana was a also a proud grandmother to five grandchildren: Melanie,Sylvia and David Jimenez, Angel and Kevin Osorio. She also was a great grandmother to three great grandchildren: Ethan Page, Jeremiah Cedeno and Reylanie Williams.
Juana's warm smile and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, now dancing amongst her late husband Alredo Raphael Jimenez and the angels in heaven.
