Beloved Wife, Mother, Sister and Grandmother

Alexandria, Louisiana is mourning the loss of a beloved community member, Juanita Thomas, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 65. Born on May 6, 1959, affectionately named Nita Faye, Mama Juanita and Ni-Ta was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering strength. She touched the lives of many with her warm smile and caring nature. Juanita will be remembered for her dedication to helping others and making a positive impact in her community. Her legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

She fought a long time battle dealing with several illnesses. Yet, she kept a trye love for the Lord. Since God loves her more and she accepted his plea to come with him. Nita Faye let go and went with the Lord. There she will be with her mother, father, grandparents, sibling and few nephews and nieces.

Juanita graduated from Delta College and began her work career at Huey P Long Hospital in which she worked for over 20 years and then retired.

Juanita Leaves to cherish her beloved memories: Spouse: Julius Thomas Children: Anton Edwards (Marisa Johnson), Tiras Edwards and Chloe Thomas. Grandchildren: Kyra Williamson, Trysta Edwards, Kyrann Tarleton, Tiranne dukes, Olivia Edwards, Alora Edwards. Her Aid: Johnathan Williams. Siblings: Betty R Boss Frances, Thomas- Tennie, (Dwight Tennie) Harriet Thomas, Cecile Thomas, Gretta Madden, Brandon Armani, Chairmen Pickens (Bobby Joe Pickens
