Juanita BlackwellMANSFIELD: Juanita Blackwell, 79, of Mansfield, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Monday, October 9, 2017. She was born on June 11, 1938 in Gadsden, Alabama. Juanita was the daughter to the late Robert and Vera (Milligan) Haynes.Juanita was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was very fashionable and loved her "bling". She had a caring heart and was loved by everyone. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, and having her family together. Juanita was a member of Lincoln Heights Baptist Church.She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Fred Blackwell Sr.; her daughter, Deborah (Steve) Harris; her sons, Fred (Carla) Blackwell Jr., and Rodney (Teresa) Blackwell; ten grandchildren, Bobbie Jo (Matt) Long, Jason Harris, Janene (Andrew) Smith, Dennis (Shannon) Cooper, Amanda (Chad) Miller, Mallory (Shane) Henry, Natasha (Jeremy) Maynor, Rodney (Autumn) Blackwell Jr., Sarah (Justin) Hayes, and Michael (Laila) Blackwell; fifteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers; and a sister.Friends and family may visit from 2-5pm on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington Springmill Road. Pastor Mark Bailey will officiate the funeral ceremony at 2pm on Monday, October 16, 2017 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Oak Grove Memorial Park.
