Hebert, Juanita M.Juanita M. Hebert, Chili, 89, died on Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Atrium Post Acute Care, Marshfield. A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Rembs Funeral Home, Marshfield. Juanita was born on June 20, 1927 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Harvey and Pauline (Melvin) Melvin. She spent many years working alongside her brothers and sisters in their tobacco and cotton fields, and Juanita was proud of her high school degree she received from Central High School. She met Perry I. Hebert while he was stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., and after a whirlwind romance she married Perry on September 4, 1945 in Dillon, South Carolina. In 1946, Juanita moved north to Chili, WI with Perry, where they built their home and celebrated family and friends over their many years together until Perry's passing on August 1, 1994. Juanita worked for decades as the store clerk at the Chili IGA.Juanita is survived by three daughters, Paula Hebert of Waukesha, Barbara (Dennis) Heart of Chili, and Judy (Doug) Stock of Kingsford, Michigan. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Ross (Heather) Heart of Superior and Amy Heart of Milwaukee, and two great-grandchildren Whittaker and Hathaway Heart of Superior. She is further survived by two brothers, Elkin "Vance" (Dorothy) Melvin and John "Jake" (Connie) Melvin; as well as many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, North Carolina, and Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Perry, a grandchild Aaron Beau Chaltry, three sisters (Inza Williams, Mildred Bullock, Rea Scott), and four brothers (Harvey Jr., Duncan, Verdrey, and Harold Melvin).
