Juanita SpurgeonClarksville, TNJuanita Louise (Jackson) Spurgeon died on Saturday, September 9, 2017.A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Burnette officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.Juanita was born on September 4, 1934 in Brownsville, Tennessee to the late Cecil and Edna Jackson. She was a 1979 graduate of Austin Peay State University and enjoyed her career as a neo-natal intensive care nurse at Northcrest Medical Center in Springfield until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church.Juanita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Lee Spurgeon, son, Taraye Lee Spurgeon, sister, Wilma Smith, brothers, James Jackson and Phillip Beck.Survivors include her son Mark Emory Spurgeon (Debbie), daughters Shela Marie Grady (Andrew) and Bobbie Gail Ellis (Richard), grandchildren Nathan Grady, Rachel Grady, and Samuel Grady, and sister-in-law Marie Beck.Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.Condolences may be made at NaveFuneralHomes.com.
