Ms. Juanita Truitt Adams passed away at her home on Monday.
She was a native of Troup County born on November 6, 1938 to the late Louella Truitt and Eddie Lewis Roberts. At an early age she dedicated her life to Christ and was a lifelong member of the Threats Grove Baptist Church where she worshipped faithfully until her homegoing.
She married Willie Adams, Sr. in 1958. Juanita was a graduate of Ethel Kight High School. And was employed at Playtex Products and the Duracell Company before retiring from West Point Stevens with over 20 years of service.
She was preceded in death by son, Willie Adams, Jr.; five sisters and four brothers.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Edward) McCutchen, LaGrange, GA; Melissa (John) Hardy, LaGrange, GA; son, Cofi (Andrea) Adams, Tyrone, GA; grandchildren, siblings, Rosa (Benny) Hall-Sims, Lagrange, GA; James (Bill) Johnson, Flint, MI; Mary Alice Sivell, Lagrange, GA; Louise Carlisle, Lagrange, GA; Viola (Merle) Pratt, Ypsilanti, MI; Ralph (Gwen) Truitt), Ypsilanti, MI; Dorothy Jean Hargrove, Raleigh, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 at5 New Community Church. Reverend George Strozier will officiate. Burial will follow at Southview Cemetary.
