Judy Ann NelsonJudy Ann Nelson, 78, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at a local medical center. Judy was born on December 23, 1937 in Pocatello, ID to Darrell and Hazel Brangham. She attended school in Fort Hall and Blackfoot High School. Judy married Charles E. Jackson and they were later divorced. She then married Lamont Nelson. He passed away in 2000.She was a waitress and retired from Lamb Weston after 33 years of service.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints holding many positions such as; Visiting Teaching, Young Women's Advisor, and Compassionate Service Leader. She was also a moral supporter for recent amputees.Judy loved knitting, crocheting, embroidery, doing crafts and canning. She also enjoyed visiting with people she loved. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and friend.Judy is survived by her daughters, Valrie Ann Jackson, Pocatello, ID, Theresa Joy Wakley, Tremonton, UT; granddaughter, Frankie A Smith, Idaho Falls, ID; grandsons, Quinton J. Rowe, Boise, ID, Preston L. Rowe, Pocatello, ID, Shawn Nemanich, Arcadia, CA, Casey D. Wakley, Paradise, UT; granddaughter, Nichole Frandsen, Shoshone, ID; grandsons, Cory L. Wakley, Ft. Collins, CO, Cassidy Wakley, Logan, UT; brothers, Stan Brangham, Jim Davis; 19 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Blaine Brangham; and sister, Millie Talbot.A viewing will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6-8 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2005 S. 4th Ave. Pocatello, ID.Funeral services will be on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11 am at the LDS Chubbuck Stake Center, 450 James Ave. Chubbuck, ID 83202 with a viewing for one hour prior to the services.Burial will be in the Treasureton, Idaho Cemetery.Condolences may be made at
