Judy McClure Judy Ann Benoit McClure, a native of Chauvin, and a resident of Houma, was called home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012 at 2:54 p.m. surrounded by her family after complications associated with a long battle with lung cancer. She was born on Oct. 19, 1945. A memorial visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 2012 at Samart Funeral Home. She is survived by her husband, Willie "Bill" McClure; her five daughters, Mathilde "Tillie" Naquin and husband Brent of Pointe Aux Chene, La., Loretta LeBoeuf and husband Brian of Montegut, La., Danah Pitre and husband Patrick of Baton Rouge, La., Jenny LeBoeuf of Marble Falls, Texas, Kandy Arnold and husband Paul of Petal, Miss.; her step-daughter, Catherine "Kitty" Dycus and husband David of Vidor, Texas; step-son, Kevin McClure of Vidor, Texas; her brothers, Essie "E.J." Benoit Jr. of Chauvin, La., Benedict "Benny" Benoit of Bourg, La., Joey Benoit and wife Deborah of Petal, Miss.; She has nine grandchildren, 19 step-grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and 11 step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her son-in-law, Percy LeCompte Sr., brother-in-law, James Prosperie, Godmother, Alirina Scott, her former husband and father of her children, Hubert LeBoeuf, her special friends, Mrs. Tutty, Mrs. Vera Nutter and Sidney Davis. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Essie Sr. and Albertine Clement Benoit; her sisters Heddy Benoit and Betty Prosperie; her brother, Alvin Benoit; her infant son; one grandbaby and two step-grandchildren. The family would like to thank Dr. Dicky and Scott Haydel, Dr. Ralph Bourgeois, and all of the nursing staff in CCU and 3rd floor at Terrebonne General Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the or St. Judes Children's Hospital in Judy McClure's memory. Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
