Judy Padilla, 44, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, in Las Vegas.She was born on Feb. 16, 1970, in Las Vegas to Louie Benavidez and JoAnn Gallegos. She was a Catholic and was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas.She loved her family, writing journals, photography, listening to music and especially she loved her grand babies.She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Augustine Santillanes and Emma Gallegos Santillanes; brother, Gabriel Gallegos; paternal grandfather, Herminio Benavidez, paternal great-grandmothers, Donicia Benavidez and Guadalupe Coca; paternal grandfather, Virgino Coca; and godparents, Jake and Helen Ortega.She is survived by her mother, JoAnn Gallegos; father, Louie Benavidez; daughter, Andrea Padilla; sons, Michael Padilla (Valerie Vigil), Marcos Padilla; grandsons, Aiden Padilla and Julian Padilla; sisters, Lucy Romero (Nathan), Lori Moreno (Joseph), all of Las Vegas, Felisha Benavidez of Rio Rancho, and Stephanie Zimmerly of Las Vegas; brothers, Andrew Esquibel, Steven Marquez of Las Vegas, and Michael Vigil and family of Santa Fe; paternal grandmother, Isabel Benavidez of Las Vegas; uncles, Ruben Gallegos (Tammy) and Joseph Gallegos (Connie); Leroy Benavidez (Carla); and Rick Benavidez, all of Las Vegas; aunts, Lucille Martinez, Judy Austin, both of Las Vegas, and Yolanda Collins (Robert) of Albuquerque; godchildren, Angel Trujillo, Josh Moreno of Las Vegas, and Katherine Padilla; nieces and nephews, Gabriel Gallegos, Ashtin Gallegos, Gabriella Gallegos and Sonny Gallegos; father of her children, Michael Padilla; friends, Judy Montaño and Nick Madrid; numerous other family members and many friends.A public visitation will be held at 8:30 to 5 p.m. today (Friday) at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas.Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. today (Friday) at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday also at Immaculate Conception Church with Father George V. Salazar serving as celebrant. Interment will take place at Mt.
