Judy Sue Winner, 68, of LaSalle passed away unexpectedly at her home on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

Judy was born September 10th, 1950, in LaSalle, at St. Mary’s Hospital, to Carl and Cecelia (Henkel) Funfsinn.

She loved playing cards and playing her guitar, anything to do with music was truly her passion. She was an accomplished basketball player with accolades and enjoyed sitting back sipping an ice cold root beer. She volunteered at the homeless shelter, as well as TEC (Teens Encounter Christ). She was a devout Christian and enjoyed attending church retreats, spending time with her family and she loved working with children.

Judy is survived by her 12 siblings, Cathy Miklavcic of Lakeland, Fla., Joan Miller of Ransom, Richard Funfsinn of Yorkville, Sister Debrah O.S.F. of Morris, Rose Manfredini of LaSalle, Paul Funfsinn of Peru, Mary (Dale) Finnell of East Peoria, Dale Funfsinn of LaSalle, Marty Funfsinn of Peru, Mike Funfsinn of LaSalle and Jerry (Trina) Funfsinn of Ladd; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother in infancy, Anthony; three brothers-in-law, Jerry Miller, Gary Sparling, and Tony Manfredini; and one sister-in-law, Dawn Funfsinn.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 6th, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Princeton with Father Daniel Gifford officiating. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Spring Valley.

A rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 5th, at the Norberg Memorial Home in Princeton. Visitation will follow from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
