Juliana Del Carmen Morales Salas was born on August 11, 1920 in Granda, Nicaragua to the late Hermelinda Salas and Francisco Morales. She passed away peacefully on November 2, 2016 at the age of 96 years old. She has been a resident of New Orleans , LA for 55 years. A loving mother, she leaves behind two daughters, Lucrecia Pavon and Violeta Portobanco; two sisters, Lucrecia Morales and Luisa Morales; one brother, Armando Morales; three grandchildren, Susie Pavon, Alicia Sosa, and Lynda Munoz; six great grandchildren, Violeta Pavon, Plinio Pavon, Jayla Sosa, Mario Cortes, Lynmarie Cortes, and Romario Cortes; one great grandchild Maylee Pavon; as well as nieces and nephews. Juliana Morales will be truly missed by many. Her family and friends will miss her kindness, giving, and loving spirit. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the services. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 8:30 PM. Memorial Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM.
