Julio Vargas, age 77 of Bloomingburg NY passed away on Saturday night, August 19th 2023, at Garnet Middletown Medical Hospital Julio was born in Dorado, Puerto Rico on January 28th, 1939 . Julio was preceded in death by his parents; Ramon and Aureliana (Morales) Rivera. He is survived by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Freyetes) Vargas; his children; Claribel Vargas of Gastonia, NC; Denise Vargas of Puerto Rico; Virginia Vargas of Orlando, FL; Annabel (Anthony) Garcia of Kissimmee, FL; Juan Vargas of New York; Carlos Vargas of Gastonia, NC; Julian (Shirley) Vargas, Julio (Lourdes) Vargas of Orlando, FL and Tony Vargas of New York. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and brother, Pedro Vargas of Puerto Rico. Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Martinez-Morse Funeral Home from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Service will follow at 10:30 AM with Pastor Pete Zieg and Pastor Bob Schmalze officiating.
