On Saturday, May 11, 2024, the guardian angel came down from heaven and visited Julius Denson in Louisville, KY. His soul took flight, where there will be no more pain and tears, because he was prepared and only waiting to hear his master call, my servant well done. Come home.
Julius was born November 5, 1968. He attended Jeffersontown High School where he excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. He had a passion for playing Spades and Dominoes, and enjoyed spending his free time engaging in these activities with loved ones.
He was honored and respected by all who knew him. He is proceeded is death by his mother, Stella Mae Splunge and grandmother Ella Mae Denson. He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Julius Denson, Justin Gill and Antonio Wolfork; daughter, Shantarra Wolfork; sisters Samantha Jenkins (Atlanta), Sharonda Denson, Adriane Denson and Levonya Taylor; brother, Rayvell Taylor (Florida) (LeTyia); a special friend, Latasha Wolfork; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who brought him immense joy throughout his life. Julius will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
"The Broken Chain"
We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name.
In Life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
