Julius Wallace, 76, gained his heavenly wings on October 6, 2022.
Julius “Juke” Wallace, son of the late Albert Wallace and Rosie Wallace was born on June 21,1946 in Albany, Ga. He attended Dougherty County public schools. Julius is a 1965 Monroe “Tornado” High school graduate. At an early age he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member. Julius loved watching and going to basketball and football games. The Dallas Cowboys and the Lakers were his favorite teams. Julius also loved playing checkers and bingo.
Julius was united in holy matrimony to Irene Anderson on January 23,1969 in Dougherty County. This union was blessed with three children.
Mr. Wallace was a zealous worker for the
Coca-Cola Company. He was employed there for 27 years before he retired in 1997. As a result of his wholeheartedness to the position he held at this company and his pleasant personality, he was loved by many. Julius peacefully departed this life on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at The Wilson Hospice House in Albany, Ga.
His delightful life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife, children, siblings, grandchild, in-laws, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Julius leaves behind to embrace his wife, Irene Wallace; son, Samuel(Teresa) Gissendanner(Adopted son) of Ozark, Al; son, Whitman (Laronda) Wallace of Warner Robins, Ga; son, Jerrald Wallace of Albany, Ga; One grandchild, Shanice J. Wallace of Evans Mills, New York; brother, Jessie( Alberta) Wallace of Albany, Ga; sister, Florine ( the late Willie) Chatman of Tampa, Fl.; sister, Ethel (Willie) McCray of Albany, Ga; sister, Regina Wallace of Albany, Ga; brother, Albert Lee Wallace of Albany, Ga; brother, Jerry Lee Wallace, of Norfolk, VA; brother, George Wallace of Albany, Ga; sister- in- law, Louise Barlow of Albany, Ga; sister-in- law, Rousha Hall of Albany, Ga; and a host of devoted nieces , nephews, cousins, and friends.
